GALA FUND-RAISING DINNER & AWARDS FUNCTION

The Foundation’s 3rd Annual Gala Fund-Raising Dinner & Awards Function was held at The Cara Suites Hotel, Claxton Bay, on Saturday  27th June.

The highlight of the evening was recognizing the four awardees for our tertiary bursary programme, from Naparima College and Presentation College, San Fernando. The young footballers nominated by their respective schools were:

1. Amrit Ano GIDHARRY (Naparima College)
2. Roberto Shane SANAI (Naparima College)
3. Nicholas MITCHELL (Presentation College)
4. Reinaldo ATWELL (Presentation College)

The Foundation encourages all the young footballers and other sportsmen to develop the discipline which would allow for the right balance between education and their football / sporting competence.

Persons present were treated to an evening of great entertainment, good food and fine company. Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Andrew Friday, as well as the live band, Major Chords, served to add a little extra spice to the evening’s proceedings.

The Foundation wishes to thank our corporate sponsors who very kindly provided bursaries for this year’s event. They are:
